Description
Jordan Brack, with the consent of his heir, has given, granted and by his charter established, to Dryburgh Abbey and the church of St Kentigern of Lanark, a certain land (LAN), in pure and perpetual alms for the welfare of his lord, William, king of Scotland, and others, by stated bounds, noting the land of the brethren of the hospital which he gave them, with all pasture and liberty from multure, as freely and quietly as he holds his land from his lord King Alexander (II).
