Description
John Brack has given, granted and by his charter established, to Dryburgh Abbey [and the] rectors of the church of Lanark, a certain land on the east side of the church of Lanark, for the welfare of the soul of Alexander (II), king of Scots, in free, pure and perpetual alms, in the land of St Kentigern’s, the mother church of Lanark, quit and immune from all service, custom and demand.
