Description
Elias of Brotherstoneside has given, granted, and by this his charter established, to Dryburgh Abbey all the land that is between the croft of William Hirdeman and the exit of his villa of Brotherstoneside (BWK), in free, pure and perpetual alms, in perpetuity, for the souls of Adam his son and others. He has also given, granted and by this his charter established to the said convent, common pasture for 80 sheep and 8 oxen and 4 cows and 2 draught animals in all of his land, with easements of his land.
