Andrew son of William, the dyer of Kelso, and his wife, Senegal, has quitclaimed to Kelso Abbey that land in the burgh of Kelso (ROX), which formerly belonged to his father and mother, which he claimed to hold from them (Kelso Abbey?) by hereditary right, for two silver marks which he received from the monastery. If his successors may wish to claim the said land by hereditary right; he will answer for seven marks of arrears which at the time of this quitclaim were owed.
