Description
Alexander of the River has quitclaimed to his lord, Richard, by the grace of God, bishop of Durham and chancellor of the lord king, one toft in Tweedmouth (BWK) with the well of Saint Michael, which is within the same toft, and one and a half acres of land which lie between the fisheries of Woodhorn and Blackwell on the condition that he may convey the aforementioned to Kelso Abbey, in pure and perpetual alms.
