Description
John of ‘Kocbrun’ has given, granted, and by this his present charter established, to Lindores Abbey all that land with pertinents that lies in breadth between the great road, which leads from his villa of Collessie (FIF) to the monastery of Lindores, and the land of the same monks called ‘Cardynside’, and in length from the land of the monks called ‘Suthleys’ by stated bounds to his land of ‘Wudeknocside’. Moreover, he has given, granted and by this his present charter established to the same monks two acres of land outwith the villa of Collessie, in order to make for themselves a house (mesuagium), where they can dig peat, and free transit through his land of Collessie.
