Description
Robert of Prenderguest has given to William of Scremerston and his heirs in return for his homage and service and for 24 marks of silver, 6 oxgangs of land in the territory of Prenderguest, that is the 2 oxgangs with a croft and toft that Robert Wynd held, and the 2 oxgangs that William son of Geoffrey held, and the 2 oxgangs that Geoffrey son of Waltheof held, and the toft and croft that Aldan son of Waltheof held, and the toft and croft that Richard son of Agnes held, to be held of him and his heirs in feu and heritage, with 7s. 9d. to be rendered thereupon annually, and with forinsec service to be made. This is the first land that he has given and alienated after his land of Prenderguest has been given to him.
