Description
Ada Cantor, daughter of Adam son of Cospatric of Little Reston, for the health of her soul and of her ancestors' and successors', has resigned and for herself and her heirs abjured and quitclaimed for ever to Roger the Prior and the monks at Coldingham and their successors all right and claim in 2 oxgangs of land and 1 toft and croft with buildings in Little Reston which she had and held from the gift of Adam son of Cospatric, her father, which she restored to John son of Bertram of Reston of whom she held them; John has given, granted and made firm by his charter the said land to the prior and monks of Coldingham in free, pure and perpetual alms.
