Description
Alexander de Vaux, knight, makes known that as Sir John de Vaux, his father, on account of offenses made against the church of Glasgow, gave and granted and by his charter established, to Blessed Kentigern and the said church of Glasgow 5 marks annually, Alexander thus holds as ratified, grants and by his charter establishes this donation of his father, to be taken from his mill of Haddington (ELO). If it cannot be taken from this mill, he wishes it to be taken from the ferme of his manor of Dirleton.
