Description
Adam of Morham has given, granted and by this his present charter established, to Sir Hugh Giffard to make his park, all that side (or ‘coast’) of his wood which is towards the castle of Yester (ELO), by stated bounds. Moreover, he gives Sir Hugh three ‘pedatas’ of land outside his wall of the said park, towards the north immediately adjacent to the wall, rendering annually, 5d. at Pentecost for all services, aids, suits of court, wards, reliefs and all other demands, secular and royal.
