Adam of Morham, brother and heir of John of Morham, ratifies and by the present writing establishes the donation which the late King William made to Arbroath Abbey of the church of Panbride (ANG) and the quitclaim made by his late brother John of Morham to the same monks of all right which he had in that church. He wills and grants that the said monks should have and possess the said church with all its just pertinents, in pure and perpetual alms.

Notes
John Malherbe, lord of Morham, was followed by his son and heir, also John, who seems to have died. This charter probably dates to early in Adam’s tenure. The relationship between the Morham line and the Malherbes holding land in Fife and Angus is unclear, but note that a William Malherbe witnesses a charter of Adam of Morham.
