- Description
- Margaret of Ceres, daughter of Duncan of Ceres, in her free power and widowhood, has given and granted and by this her charter established to Sir John of Denmuir her cognatus, for his homage and service and for warrandice of the cain of ‘Balulsii’ (poss. Balhouffie, FIF) and of ‘Petmerse’ (poss. Pitversie, Abernethy ph., PER) all the third part of her land of ‘Chalethinke’ with all its just pertinents and liberties and easements, with one mark annual rent which she was wont to receive hereditarily from ‘Petkeri’ (poss. Pitkierie, FIF), together with all her right in the aforesaid land of ‘Petkeri’, making forinsec Scottish service of the lord king and the rent pertaining to it.
