- William, called Blar’, the chaplain, former vicar of Heriot (MLO), addresses William of Lamberton, bishop of St Andrews stating that he resigns the vicarage of the church of Heriot of his diocese, with all its rights and pertinents, into the bishop’s consecrated hands, which vicarage he was accepted into by the bishop’s conveyance and also was instituted into by the authority of the bishop’s letter.
