Malcolm, earl of Lennox, has given, granted and by this his present charter established to Christina and Margaret of Drummond, daughters of John of Drummond, and their heirs and assignees, all the land of Ardeureane and Ardenalochreth (?), which lands Malmure Hogg, returned to the lord, Malcolm's father, by rod and staff, by stated bounds, with all just pertinents, to be held and had in feu and heritage, with various specified freedoms, and with all their other easements, pertinents, commodities and freedoms. They are to provide for the land a twentieth part of the service of one knight, the common army service of Malcolm's lord, the king, and three head pleas yearly at the court of Lennox. Malcolm promises warrandice.
