Description
Alan, perpetual vicar of the church of Glasgow, and sacrist of the same church, by the consent of the chapter of the said church, has granted and leased at feu-ferme, for him and his successors, the sacrists, in the name of the said office of sacrist, to John of Carrick, chaplain of the parish of Glasgow, all that land which was vacant, with all its pertinents, lying against the brothers of Glasgow within the burgh of the same name, in length and width between the land of Malcolm called the Scot to the north, and the alley or street which belongs to the brothers to the south, to be held and had in return for three shillings of silver annually, viz.: eighteen pennies at the feast of Pentecost, and 18 pennies at the feast of St Martin in winter. Alan promises warrandice.
