Pope Clement V writes to Fercard, sometime dean, now bishop of Caithness, confirming his election on the voidance of the see by the death of Andrew. The chapter appointed William Henry, abbot of Scone, and David de Rach, canons, to make the election; whereupon the dean came to the apostolic see, and the election was examined by three cardinals. The bishop-elect is to be consecrated by P., bishop of Sabina.
