Henry, abbot of Arbroath; William, prior of Canonbie; Adam, prior of Inchmahome; Peter, prior of Ardchattan; Henry, prior of Coldingham; Richard, prior of Durham; Maurice, prior of Whithorn; John, prior of St Andrews; Eve, prioress of Haddington; Alice, prioress of Manuel; Ada, prioress of St Bothans; and the convents of the same places; having come to the faith and will of the king of England, they promise for themselves and their successors on pain of body and possessions, that they will serve him well and loyally; and each of the abbots has performed fealty.
