Description
William of Twynham, persona of church of St Brigid in Ayr in Man, asks a writ to the sheriff of Lancaster for justice according to English law, against Duncan Maccar and William, his son, who have forcibly ejected him from his church and goods, and held it for four years and drawn the fruits, to the value of £50, and his damage of 40 marks, and against the king’s peace.
