John of Guildford, keeper of the castle of Aberdeen has received from Sir Alexander de Balliol, chamberlain of Scotland, by the hand of Sir William of Meldrum, sheriff of Aberdeen, 25 marks for part of his wages granted by the king of England for custody of the castle of Aberdeen.
