Sir Laurence de Ripariis, a prest of his pay at Caerlaverock on 16 November, 10s. Sir Robert de Cantillo for same, by said Sir Laurence’s hands there on the same day, 10s. Sir John de Fulborne, for same, by said Sir Laurence’s hands there on the same day, 10s. Sir William de Polton, for same, by said Sir Laurence’s hands there on the same day, 10s. Sir Nicholas de la Lande, for same by his own hands there, same day, 10s. John, son of Hugh for same (in recompense for an axe lent in the wardrobe to cut trees in the wood next to Dumfries, for pales there, which was not restored to him – by order of Sir J. de Droxford), at Caerlaverock 17th November 12d.
