Description
Draft privy seal from King Edward I to the constable of Bamburgh Castle, orders him to receive Alexander de Balliol, son of his faithful liege Alexander de Balliol, from the bearer of this letter and to have him guarded by trustworthy persons in the castle, not in irons, and with freedom to play within the castle walls provided he is well guarded.
