Description
John of Logie, knight, has given, granted, and by this his present charter established, to Simon Haldane all of the eastern third part of his land of Bardrill (PER) with pertinent which Sir Malise, earl of Strathearn, gave him, with the consent of Lord Malise, his son and heir, having and holding by the said Simon and the heirs legitimately procreated of his body, and if that does not happen, by William Haldane, his first-born brother, or David his brother, if the same has no heirs, and by Gilbert his brother if he has no heirs, in feu and heritage, for his homage and service, with all its pertinents, performing for his lord the king and for the superior lord of the feu what is customarily owed, and rendering by Simon and his heirs to John and his heirs 1d. on Pentecost annually, for all secular service, exaction and demand.
