Description
Warrant for the late sheriffs of Shropshire and Stafford, and Gloucester, for 200s. 18d. allowances to Hugh Butler and John Napier of Scotland, prisoners in Bruges and Shrewsbury castles, from 23 August 1304 till Michaelmas 1305, at 3d. each per day. Similar for the executor of the sheriff of Gloucester for 20s. allowed to Sir Hugh Lovell, a Scottish prisoner in Gloucester castle, from 12 April 1311 till 10 June after, at 4d. per day. Hugh Butler still in prison, Michaelmas 1311
