Description
Account of John of Lincoln and Roger of Paris, sheriffs of London, on the morrow of St Andrew. Delivered to Ralph of Sandwich, constable of the Tower, for the daily sustenance of Sir William Oliphant, knight, a prisoner there, for a year since 29 September 1304 - £6 16d. And 15s. delivered to John de Seagrave in August last for carriage of the body of William Wallace to Scotland, by the king’s writ and John’s receipt. Afterwards they are allowed 10s. in the Roll.
