- Robert, etc., has [given?] his beloved and faithful Robert called 'Jolleiffis', burgess of Perth, that land on South Street in his burgh of Perth, located between the land called 'Reede' on the west and the land that was John of Perth's on the east, the said land pertaining to the royal dignity because of the forfeiture of Laurence son of the late Michael of Dunkeld, our enemy and rebel, a fugitive in England, rendering what was customarily owed. And if it so happens that the said Laurence comes to the king's peace and grace is made for the said land, the king wills that Laurence must make adequate redemption to Robert or his heirs or assigns before any ingress onto the said land.
