Robert, king of Scots, has given his beloved and faithful Thomas son of Richard for his homage and service the whole barony of Symington (LAN) in the sheriffdom of Lanark, in feu and heritage, with the tenancies of the freeholders of the said barony and their services, for the service customarily owed for that barony.
