Description
David, king of Scots, has inspected and with competent deliberation truly understood the letters that lord Robert, late king of Scotland, his father, made to Arbroath abbey over the lands of 'Culbak' in the Mearns (KCD), finding it neither erased, cancelled, nor damaged, in these words. [see RRS, v, no. 49; dated 15 Feb. 1315 at Arbroath].
