Description
David, king of Scots, has given his beloved and faithful knight William of Douglas for his homage and service the barony of Dalkeith (MLO) in the sheriffdom of Edinburgh which belonged to John of Graham, lord of Abercorn, hereditarily, and which John resigned by staff and baton in Edinburgh castle; holding in feu and heritage for service owed and wont.
