Description
David, king of Scots, notes that he granted to Willam Wiseman, knight, his relative, all the fruits, teinds, and obventions of the church of Fordyce (BNF) during the vacancy of the see of Aberdeen after the death of Lord Alexander, bishop of Aberdeen. He has been informed by the canons of the cathedral chapter that the church is a commensal church of the bishop of Aberdeen. He thus wills and concedes that the dean and canons of the aforesaid chapter shall have the aforesaid church of Fordyce with all its fruits and obventions as freely as they had it in the time of his predecessors.
