Description
David, king of Scots, to his sheriff, bailies of Inverness and their lieutenants or lieutenant, and the coroner of Caithness, commanding them to cause to be forbidden and publicly proclaimed in burghs, courts and public places in our name, that nobody of whatever status should enter the lands or harbours of Orkney in any way, except for pilgrimage or trade.
