Description
David, king of Scots, to his baillies of the burgh of Peebles and the burgesses and community of the same burgh, noting that he has granted his beloved and faithful John of Peebles, master of the hospital there,a space in that burgh to build a chapel in honour of the Blessed Virgin Mary. He commands and instructs that the space be 40 feet in length and 24 feet in width.
