Description
David, king of Scots, has inspected a charter of King Alexander II to Lindores abbey. [RRS, iii, no. 263; 1/7/270] The king confirms this in perpetuity. And he wills that the lands of Craigie, Milton, Claypotts and Balmaw (ANG), in which the monastery was infeft before the aforesaid charter, to be free and quit of all services.
