David, king of Scots, has given his beloved and faithful Alan Erskine, the land of Crambeth (KNR) in the sheriffdom of Fife, which Alexander of Crambeth resigned of his own free will by staff and baton at Perth; holding in feu and heritage, as freely as Alexander held it, for service owed and wont.
