Description
David, king of Scots, has approved, ratified and confirmed that donation which Dougal MacDowall, knight, made to John Trumpour, now called Carrick Herald, of four marklands called 'Litilgretby' (Gribdae) in the lordship of 'Kyrassalda' (Kirkcarswell, KCB) in the sheriffdom of Dumfries, and twenty shillinglands of called 'Glengarg' and Glen Craig (KCB), in the lordship of 'Curwen' in the aforesaid sheriffdom; holding in feu and heritage, as contained in Dougal's charter; saving the king's service.
