Description
David, king of Scots, has given his beloved and faithful Walter of Leslie knight, and Euphemia of Ross, his wife, the king's relative, for his homage and service, all of New Forest in the sheriffdom of Dumfries, and their legitimate male heirs, in one integral and free barony, in feu and heritage, with bondsmen and bondages, neyfs and their offspring, with pit and gallows, sake and soke, toll and team and infangenthef, as freely as any barony, for homage and forinsec service owed to the king.
