Description
Dom. John, abbot, and convent of Lindores for Sir Simon of Gartly; have granted right to have a chapel within his court, where only he and his personal household may hear divine service. On particular feast days he and his tenants should go to mother church. Simon shall pay for all necessities for chapel, and shall give fidelity to church of Inverurie and chaplains serving in chapel. If any obvention is made there, it shall be paid in full to church so that church shall lose nothing. If they do otherwise, chapel shall be suspended until full satisfaction is made. In recognition of this grant, Simon shall give annually to mother church two pounds of wax at feast of Assumption of Blessed Mary
