Document 2/94/8 (Linc. Reg., iii, no. 841)

Description
Abbot William and convent of Holyrood to dean and chapter of Lincoln; note that they are ready to complete business about alienation and resignation of their pension, as they said before. Therefore, they will arrange to send to Durham, at day and place named by dean and chapter, a person by whom everything will be completed. Because it does not seem to be included in chapter's letter, abbot thinks it should not be sealed unless it is expressly said 'saving 100s. to Sir W. de Shelfanger as long as he lives'. Wherefore, if dean and chapter will prepare their letter with said clause, send it to be sealed before day they wish to appoint, so that they may receive it sealed on that day.
