Description
Maldoven, earl of Lennox, has given, granted, and established by this his present charter, to Walter, bishop of Glasgow, and his successors in perpetuity, the church of Cardross (DNB), with lands, teinds, fisheries and its pertinents of all kinds, in pure and perpetual alms, to be turned to the benefit of the bishop’s resources (mensa); saving the right of Dougal his brother; in testimony of this he has puts his seal to the present charter.
