Brother Raan[ulf?] Corbet, master of the House of the Temple in the land of the king of Scots, with common counsel of his brethren of ‘Plentidoc’ (Balantrodoch, now Temple, MLO), has given, granted, and by this his charter established to William Gley of Glasgow, their man, that full toft which Sir Jocelin, bishop of Glasgow gave them in the burgh of Glasgow (LAN), namely, that toft which Gillel’ held previously, and a fishing on the Clyde, which the same bishop gave with all common easements of the territory of Glasgow, holding in feu and heritage from the House of the Knights of the Temple, for an annual render of 12d on the feast of St Michael.
