- Description
- An agreement is formed between Alexander, steward of Scotland, knight of the kingdom of Scotland, and Deulecresse son of Aaron the Jew, whereby Alexander acknowledges a debt of £200, to be repaid at the quinzaine of St John (8 July) 1262. If repayment is not made then, he will pay 2d. interest on every pound for each week the debt remains unpaid, and he pledges all his lands, rents and chattels to Deulecresse, for the recovery of the whole debt and interest therefrom.
