William of Hertford has given at ferme to the abbot and convent of Paisley the church of Neilston (LAN), in return for which he has received from them half of the garbal teinds of Thornton; to hold all the days of his life, as the charter of the abbot of Paisley made concerning this agreement bears witness. William has also renounced all suits against the abbot and convent of Paisley, and against Philip of Partick, clerk of the abbot and convent, which had pertained to him on account of the church of Neilston.
