Description
Thor Longus makes known that Edgar, his lord, the king of Scots, gave him the abandoned land of Ednam, which he, with the king's aid, and his own money, has inhabited and built a church in honour of Saint Cuthbert, which church with one ploughgate of land he has given to Saint Cuthbert and his monks to possess forever.
