Description
John and Walter, canons of the Order of Sempringham, have delivered sasine to the abbot of Paisley for the perpetual use of his house, of the lands, rents, fisheries and all other real estate which their order had by gift of Walter son of Alan (II), by the authority of the priors of Malton and St Andrew’s York, appointed proctors of the Order of Sempringham in Scotland, their letter being quoted word for word herein.
