Description: Adam of Dowane senior has resigned, quitclaimed and returned to Waleran, abbot of Kelso, and the convent within his monastery, all Adam’s land which he holds in the villa and tenement of Greenrig within the abbot’s barony of Lesmahagow (LAN). Adam and his heirs are not permitted to disregard this resignation.
