Description
Thomas of Kirkcudbright, elect of Candida Casa, makes known that following the confirmation of his election by lord J[ohn], archbishop of York, he promised faith and obedience to the church of York by his oath, and from the hands of the said archbishop, all the jurisdiction of the diocese of Candida Casa, with the rolls, acts and all instruments of the consistory of Candida Casa were invested to him.
