An agreement is made between Haakon V, king of Norway, through his messengers, Berner de Berkerey, the baron, and Ivar son of Olaf, canon of Bergen and Orkney, and Robert, king of Scotland, to renew, and by the present document, establish, the treaty of 1266 between Scotland and Norway, which is copied in full. Berner de Berkerey and Ivar son of Olaf, along with Fercard, bishop of Caithness, and Master Roger of Inverness, chancellor of of the church of Moray, swear that the treaty will be upheld.
