Description
Robert Bruce, earl of Carrick and lord of Annandale, writes to Sir John de Langton, chancellor of England; on behalf of his bachelors, Sir John of Wigtown, Sir John of Seton, and Sir Walter Haket, who are with him in the king’s service in Galloway, and are approaching the place where the king is, and whose late protection expired at the Nativity of St John Baptist last, he begs a renewal and offers to do anything the chancellor commands him.
