Description
Robert, king of Scots, in the presence of his full council, has granted that no past or future ordinance shall render invalid the gift that we have made to out faithful and loyal Alexander of Seton knight for his good service in Ireland and in Scotland of the land of Barns (ELO) with the appurtenances near Haddington of the place of the mill between Haddington and the sonemes (sic) called 'Lestmillne' (The East Mill).
