Description
Robert, king of Scots, has given the chaplain of a chapel near Dumfries dedicated to the Holy Cross at the spot where died his son-in-law Christopher of Seton in his service, founded by Christina Bruce, his sister and Christopher's wife, 100s by the hand of the sheriff of Dumfries and his baillies from the barony of Caerlaverock (DMF) to say masses for Christopher' soul.
