David, king of Scots, has given his beloved William of Douglas knight for his homage and service all the lands that belonged to John de Mowbray knight, the king's enemy, and that land which fell to John by hereditary succession from his father Philip de Mowbray knight; holding in feu and heritage, for service owed and wont.
